How to Choose the Perfect Vacation Rental

When searching for the best place to reside during your upcoming weeklong vacation, there are a few things you need to sift through to ensure you are getting exactly what you want.
The first decision you need to make is budget. Money talks. If you have $5,000 to spend on a vacation total, including air travel fees, food, excursion fees, shopping, etc, then you will need to find a vacation rental that will suit your budget. $2,000 would be a good amount out of your $5,000 to put down on a place. Now, if you have $5,000 to spend on just a vacation rental spot, then your options open very vastly. If you have $1,000 or less, a relaxing vacation is definitely still feasible but it may just be less star-studded; celebrity treatment won't be available like it would in a $5,000 per week suite.
After you pan out your budget, you need to figure out how many people you are going to bring with you. If it is you and your lover, a romantic themed rental would be very suitable. If it is you and some friends, a more spacious, less romantic place would be a good option. If it is just you, then you should stay wherever your little heart desires with absolutely no one to please except yourself.
After you decipher the number of attendees will be accompanying you on this vacation, this will help you determine what type of accommodations will suit your needs. If it is you and your lover, a one bedroom suite will surely suffice. The same goes for if it is just you; multiple rooms or multiple beds would just be unnecessary. If you are going to be joined by a bunch of your friends, say 10 or more, you will probably want to rent out an entire beach house. This may sound expensive but if you're splitting the cost with everyone, it should work out in your favor. However, if you are paying for the entire thing, then no matter what, you're going to be looking at a larger bill. If there are only 5 or 6 of you going, try staying in a condominium. These can be two floors or one and they often come with at least 2 or 3 bedrooms either way. Not only that, but they are typically1 adorned with a kitchen, washer and dryer, and other useful appliances.
After you decide the size of your budget, the size of your party, and the type of place you'd like to stay in, the last thing you need to consider is the beach you'd like to go to! Southern beaches are warm and easy to get to, as well as being moderately priced. Exotic beaches tend to offer an experience you can't find in the states, but beware of the difference in average fees for simple items when traveling overseas. All beaches have their perks, but its up to you and your party to decide which one best fits you!

  1. It depends how many people are in your company. For a single man or woman, hotel is the only choice probably, but for family or group of people self catering villa can save a lot of money.

  4. One can also go for guesthouses, which are becoming more popular because they are cheaper.
